Engaging Pre-Kindergarten & Transitional Kindergarten Classes

From pre-kindergarten to transitional kindergarten, we're there for your little one at every educational stage. Lenape Kiddie Kollege of Medford, New Jersey, is staffed by teachers. As a team dedicated to modern practices, we attend workshops every year to keep our skills current, and we experience very little turnover.

Our Classes

The Bunny Class: Designed with two and three-year-olds in mind, this class focuses on skills including sharing, waiting turns, and making friends. Children are introduced to school rituals, such as circle time and snack time, along with academic pursuits like name recognition and early writing. Your child enjoys playing, creative art making, and music making. This class caps at 12 children, paired with a teacher and an assistant. Choose classes up to two or three mornings a week.

The Teddy Class: Three and four-year-olds continue to refine their social skills, and friendships flourish. Students engage in play, make music, and create art in their theme-based units. Academically, children work on beginning name writing, cutting with scissors, and multi-step art projects. We limit this class to 14 children with a teacher and an assistant. Classes are available in the morning or afternoon two to three days per week.

The Dinosaur Class: A pre-kindergarten class created for four to five-year-olds, this class has students learning their letters and developing fine motor skills. Such skills may include coloring, pasting, and using scissors. Children take an active part in their classroom by taking turns with jobs, or small duties. We limit this class to 20 children with a teacher and assistant. Children may attend two, three, or five days. Some half and full-day sessions are available.

The Rabbit Class: Our transitional kindergarten is available for five-year-olds who do not plan to attend kindergarten, or children who will turn five by December 31. While there are ample play opportunities, this class focuses more on academics, with emphasis on the alphabet. Class size is limited to 12 students and meets 5 1/2 days.
